Premium sample
Ruby is the Sun’s gem; a spotless pearl the Moon’s; coral Mars’s; emerald (gārutmata) Mercury’s; yellow sapphire Jupiter’s; diamond Venus’s; stainless sapphire Saturn’s; gomedha and vaidūrya the remaining two (Rāhu and Ketu).
Phaladeepika 2.29 (graha-bheda; siva.sh / Mantreśvara)
Benefics who own kendras do not give purely benefic fruit. Malefics who own kendras do not remain inauspicious. Lords of trikoṇa (1/5/9) give good results.
BPHS Yogakāraka 34.2 (siva.sh numbering; editions vary)
When the same graha owns a koṇa and a kendra, he is especially yogakāraka. Occupying kendra or koṇa supports that role.
BPHS Yogakāraka 34.13
The 8th lord is not benefic when he also owns 9 or 12. With 3/7/11 he is harsher; with a koṇa he can give good fruit. This is why an exclusive dusthāna lord is not strengthened.
BPHS Yogakāraka 34.6
BPHS Tanu-bhāva reads the Lagna and the lagneśa first. A weak lagneśa strains the body-field; supporting him is the usual first ratna when he is not an exclusive dusthāna lord.
BPHS Tanu-bhāva (often printed as ch. 12; English paraphrase)
BPHS Graha-śānti pacifies a malevolent graha by mantra, homa, and dāna. It is not a shop-list of which gem to wear. Wearing follows Phaladeepika 2.29 plus BPHS 34 lordship.
BPHS Graha-śānti (often printed as ch. 84; English paraphrase)
Jātaka-pārijāta Grahasvarūpa (often 2.21) repeats the same graha–ratna list. Printed recensions differ slightly from Phaladeepika 2.29; this engine uses Mantreśvara’s wording.
Jātaka-pārijāta 2.21 (cross-check; English note)
